Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Product to join our leadership team in Vancouver. As VP of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive growth and innovation in the competitive SaaS marketplace.

This position will report directly to the CEO.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Define and execute the product strategy aligned with company goals and market trends.
  • Product Vision: Develop a compelling product vision that inspires cross-functional teams and aligns with customer needs.
  • Roadmap Development: Create and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing initiatives based on strategic objectives and resource availability.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a talented team of product managers and designers to deliver high-quality products on schedule.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams to ensure alignment and successful product launches.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Customer Focus: Champion a customer-centric approach, leveraging customer feedback and data analytics to inform product decisions and enhancements.
  • Performance Tracking: Establish key metrics and KPIs to monitor product performance, iterate on features, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Manage the product development budget effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of years of experience with 3-5 being in a senior product management role within a SaaS company
  • Track record of successfully launching and scaling B2B products.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a passion for driving product innovation.
  • Deep understanding of agile development methodologies and product lifecycle management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
